Courses after Bachelor of Science:
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM):
PGDM is a 2-year program offered by autonomous b-schools in India. PGDM is considered equivalent to the MBA program, however, the fees of PGDM courses are quite high as compared to the MBA programs offered by state and central universities.
Postgraduate courses are designated as PGDM, mainly because when an institution is an autonomous body (meaning it can be in any university Not affiliated with) and conducts management courses So such institutes cannot offer an MBA degree. Even IIMs do not offer XLRI MBA degrees as they only offer PGP diplomas or PGDM as they are autonomous and independent bodies.
Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM):
The Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) is a certificate awarded for successful completion of a postgraduate course in a degree but not a specific certificate.
It is a trademark course of IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management), though nowadays many private and public colleges also provide PGPM course. It is almost similar to the MBA program.
The course duration is 1 to 2 years, which varies from college to college, but the minimum PGPM eligibility is the same in almost all the management colleges, which is a minimum of 50% or equivalent in any Bachelor’s degree course.
Master of Business Administration (MBA):
MBA is a 2-year course specifically known for a business degree, it is a semester-based course (mostly 4 semesters) with theoretical aspects of the business.
There are two types of MBA-General and Specialized, and cover various subjects including Commerce, Economics, Management, etc. After completing an MBA candidate can earn a handsome salary.
Master of Computer Applications (MCA):
MCA is a PG degree course and the duration of the MCA course is 3 years. Candidates who want to pursue a career in the S / W field can do this course after graduation.
The course offers many job opportunities for bright students in software companies and also in multinational companies with high salaries and the growth of software engineers can drive growth in any other similar field.
Master in Science (MSc):

Chartered Accountant (CA):
CA is one of the most common careers for every commerce student and also is the most popular. The CA exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI). And are required to pass 3 exams during the period of CPT, IPCC, and Final CA.
Masters of Commerce (M.Com):
It is very common for students pursuing a Masters’s degree (PG) in Commerce after completing BCom. Many students go for M.com after completing B.com
This is a two-year pg course, and you can do it from recognized institutions. M.Com is a course that focuses on the systematic study of accounting, business, finance, economics, statistics, taxation, marketing, and management and hence it gives information about all fields

MBA is a good career course for commerce students but non-commerce students can also do this course.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed):
Bachelor of Education is an undergraduate bachelor’s degree course offered by many universities/colleges across the country and also popular in arts stream students.
Students who are interested in teaching must do this course. This is a professional course and their minimum eligibility criteria are that only those students who have completed their undergraduate degree course can do this course.
Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc IT):
This is a 2 year-long postgraduate degree course. During these 2 years, students have been given both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of IT (Information Technology).
